"Human capital, social capital" was the theme of the second Festival of Economics, which was held in Trento from 30 May to 3 June. It brought together for five event-filled days university lecturers, including Partha Dasgpunta from Cambridge University, who delivered a keynote address on "Social capital as an economic institution", the Nobel Prize winner Gary Becker, economists and editorialists (including Sergio Romano and Stefano Rodotà); politicians, business owners, and world-famous scientists who addressed topics of importance to the economy in a simple and intelligible fashion.
The festival pursues the objective, shared by Intesa Sanpaolo, of making economics more accessible to the general public.

From 21-25 May, Nuova Fiera di Roma
An important annual occasion for interaction between public administrations, businesses and members of the public.
This event enjoys the patronage of the President of the Italian Republic, and of the Minister for Reform and Innovation in Public Administration.
Intesa Sanpaolo was present with its exhibition space, that hosted workshops and seminars on topics of particular interest for public sector.
