  • The 32nd America's Cup, "UNVEILING"
    1 April 2007, Valencia

Sunday, 1 April, in Valencia, the defending champion and the eleven challengers unveiled the keel designs for their yachts for the America's Cup.
The unveiling ceremony began at 9:30 a.m. when all 12 teams had to drop the protective skirts that had been guarding the underbodies of their race boats.
Each team's boat or boats were on full display for the journalists and for the members of the other teams, who were able to look them over in the open area outside each team's station.
For the first time, a logo other than Prada's appeared on the hull of the Italian sailboat Luna Rossa: that of Intesa Sanpaolo.
The logo of Intesa Sanpaolo took its place beside those of Prada and Telecom Italia, the companies comprising the syndicate which, under the aegis of the Italian Yacht Club, supported Italy's bid for the thirty-second America's Cup by sponsoring Luna Rossa.
Beginning last April, twelve teams contended in Valencia for the oldest sailing trophy in existence. The colours and logo of Intesa Sanpaolo appeared on the middle of the hull of the Italian sailboat.
