CresciBusiness: new agreement with Confartigianato

Intesa Sanpaolo and Confartigianato (General Federation of Italian Artisans and Craftsmen) are strengthening their collaboration with an addendum to the national CresciBusiness agreement, on joint initiatives to support associated micro and small enterprises with:

  • digitalisation
  • energy sustainability
  • business development

by paying attention to the economic, social and environmental impacts.

The focus of the planned measures concerns, in more detail:

  • sustainability and enhancement of supply chains, including from a digital perspective
  • investments in renewable energy and liquidity for energy costs
  • training programmes on ESG issues in cooperation with Digit'Ed

Investing in digitalisation, renewable energy, energy efficiency, circular economy, self-produced and self-consumed energy, is indeed a priority for all categories of business, which are called upon to rethink their businesses from a more sustainable perspective.

Craft and service companies make up the group of businesses that is most numerous and exposed to the effects of energy and raw material price rises: for them, under the national CresciBusiness plan, Intesa Sanpaolo has provided for liquidity measures and guaranteed loans amounting to €5 billion, part of the more than €410 billion planned by the Group to support the objectives of the NRRP Missions.
