Intesa Sanpaolo supports the growth of the Romagna start-up Orapesce

Intesa Sanpaolo is granting a convertible loan of €500,000 to Orapesce, a Romagna start-up operating in the fish delivery sector, which will use it to:

• implement the multichannel strategy of its industrial plan
• continue investing in the brand and ICT

Orapesce is a start-up that began with the aim of innovating the purchase methods in the fish sector: it collaborates with fishermen’s cooperatives in Rimini, Cesena and San Benedetto del Tronto that practice sustainable fishing in order to ensure they have a new commercial outlet.

Through its medium to long-term "Convertible Business" loan, used in this case, Intesa Sanpaolo is supporting the launch and development of innovative start-ups, with the possibility of entering the share capital of the company.

Orapesce is also one of the start-ups included by Intesa Sanpaolo in the Elite Lounge and Up2Stars programmes, pathways of acceleration dedicated to new Italian businesses with high innovation content.
