Intesa Sanpaolo is providing a €5 million loan to support the sustainable development projects of Italtrans, a company based in Calcinate (BG) and leader in Italy in transport and logistics services for mass retail distribution.

The new financial resources will enable Italtrans to:

  • renew the vehicle fleet with environmentally friendly vehicles and thus reduce CO2 emissions
  • further strengthen the company's green development strategy

The loan is backed by SACE's 80% Green Guarantee and is part of the S-Loans, financing solutions supporting small and medium-sized enterprises that intend to improve their sustainability profile, characterised by a bonus mechanism linked to the achievement of shared ESG objectives.
