Puglia-based Sir receives €1.2 mln in first loan with SACE "Garanzia Futuro”

Intesa Sanpaolo is supporting the growth plans of the Puglia-based Sir with a loan of €1.2 million intended for:

purchase of a special crane for infrastructure work in the port-logistics sector
expansion of the services the company offers on a national and international scale to large companies in the energy, steel, pharmaceutical and food sectors

This is the first transaction by an Italian bank with a SACE “Garanzia Futuro” (Future Guarantee), a flexible digital instrument dedicated to SMEs, supporting their investments in technological innovation, digitalisation and infrastructure.

Sir is based in Brindisi and provides industrial, environmental and port services; it specialises in demolition, freight transport, reclamation and waste treatment.
