Global Finance grants award to Intesa Sanpaolo for innovation in Trade Finance

Intesa Sanpaolo has received awards from Global Finance among the World’s Best Trade Finance and Supply Chain Finance Providers in the following categories:

• Best Use of Artificial Intelligence in Trade Finance, for the use of artificial intelligence in the management process of Trade Finance practices by the structures of Global Transaction and Business Service Centre: an Optical Character Recognition (OCR) system integrated with artificial intelligence and machine-learning mechanisms assists the operator in the management of the practices through the analysis of the underlying documentation.
• Best Trade Finance Providers in Italy 2024, for the activity conducted in 2023 by Global Transaction Banking and Financial Institutions in Trade Finance, a sector involved in an increasingly advanced process of digitisation, automation and innovation.
