Third sector: with "Futuro Aggiunto" soft loans of €6 million

Intesa Sanpaolo is participating in "Futuro Aggiunto", a financing programme set to provide €6 million in subsidised loans to support access to credit for third sector organisations.

The initiative is being promoted together with Fondazione Compagnia di San Paolo, Cooperfidi Italia and Fondazione Social Venture Giordano Dell'Amore, and is aimed at third sector organisations based in Piedmont, Liguria and Valle D'Aosta.

"Futuro Aggiunto" could facilitate access to credit for at least 60 third sector organisations, assuming an average amount applied for of €100,000 over five years.

The programme confirms Intesa Sanpaolo's commitment to the growth of the third sector with new forms of financing focused on the common good.

Target and structure of the programme

The initiative is aimed at third sector entities pursuant to Legislative Decree 117/17 based in Piedmont, Liguria and Valle D'Aosta. Such organisations will be able to benefit from a subsidised loan from by Intesa Sanpaolo for cash flow or investments of €50,000 to €200,000 for a term of 24 to 72 months (with a maximum pre-amortisation period of 12 months) and at subsidised rates, and with the cost of the Cooperfidi guarantee reimbursed by Fondazione Social Venture Giordano Dell'Amore with support from Compagnia San Paolo.

The agreement, which will allow Intesa Sanpaolo to disburse €6 million in loans at subsidised rates, calls for the coordinated presence of (i) total guarantees of €3 million, made available by Cooperfidi Italia, drawing on EIF-EaSI resources and covering 50% of the loans disbursed, and (ii) a covering fund of €500,000 made available by Fondazione Social Venture Giordano Dell’Amore with a contribution from Fondazione Compagnia di San Paolo, dedicated to reimbursement of the costs of guarantee incurred by beneficiaries.
