Financing of €10 mln to WIIT for investments in environmental sustainability

Intesa Sanpaolo is financing WIIT's investment in environmental sustainability for €10 million, which includes the purchase of new servers, storage and software.

The loan, backed by a SACE Green Guarantee, is in support of "WIIT4Climate", a pillar of WIIT's ESG plan to 2030: with the exponential increase in digital traffic volumes, cloud providers and data centre companies need to invest in innovative technological solutions to reduce the energy consumption of their business.

Through this transaction, Intesa Sanpaolo also confirms its financial support for investments in transformative projects related to the green, energy and digital transition, in line with the NRRP initiatives.

WIIT is a leading European player in the market for enterprise cloud computing services.
