S-Loan: a social inclusion and business support tool

Intesa Sanpaolo has launched a new initiative to correlate an additional social impact to the provision of credit to companies that intend to improve their sustainability profile: for every S-Loan granted to small and medium Italian enterprises, the Bank will make a donation to a charity project to which the enterprises that have subscribed to the loan may also decide to contribute.

The first project financed thanks to the donations linked to the new S-Loans - "A Scuola di Inclusione: giocando si impara" (At School for Inclusion: learning by playing  ) - is aimed at upgrading playgrounds from an inclusive perspective with the installation of rides and games accessible to children with and without disabilities, in 16 Italian regions^(*).

This initiative confirms Intesa Sanpaolo's role as a bank supporting the transition of companies towards Environmental, Social, Governance (ESG) objectives in order to help relaunch the country's economy.
