Progetto Cultura is Intesa Sanpaolo’s program that includes the public opening of the Bank’s artistic and architectural heritage through the Gallerie d’Italia, synergy with public and academic protection organizations through the Restituzioni program, and the promotion of knowledge of historical documents preserved in the Group’s archives through the Historical Archive.
The Gallerie d’Italia of Intesa Sanpaolo, with locations in Milan, Naples, Turin, and Vicenza, constitute a museum and cultural hub that hosts over 35,000 owned artworks and promotes cultural events and temporary exhibitions.
Restituzioni, the biennial program promoted by Intesa Sanpaolo in collaboration with ministerial and academic bodies, is dedicated to the restoration of artworks and monuments to “return” them to the community and their places of origin.
Intesa Sanpaolo’s Historical Archive preserves a vast collection of documents, photographs, and videos from banking archives and the Publifoto Archive, and is committed to their conservation, restoration, and digitization to make them accessible to the public.
Progetto Cultura
Progetto Cultura is the multi-year programme through which Intesa Sanpaolo expresses its commitment to promoting art and culture in the countries where it operates.
Sharing, collaboration and conservation are at the heart of the Progetto Cultura, which involves opening the Bank's artistic and architectural heritage up to the public, working in synergy with public and academic conservation bodies and promoting knowledge of historical documents in the Group's archives
The Gallerie d’Italia of Intesa Sanpaolo
Intesa Sanpaolo's Gallerie d'Italia, part of the bank's Progetto Cultura, is a museum and cultural hub consisting of four exhibition venues in Milan, Naples, Turin and Vicenza, designed to enhance and share its vast artistic heritage with the public.
