Intesa Sanpaolo has a climate focus as evidenced in various sustainability reports providing a detailed and transparent analysis of the initiatives and progress made by the Bank in achieving environmental goals.
With €8 billion in credit lines for the circular economy announced in the 2022-2025 Business Plan, Intesa Sanpaolo confirms the increasing attention it devotes to projects transitioning towards a more sustainable economy.
Intesa Sanpaolo also supports its clients in adopting sustainable practices to drive energy transition through a scalable approach, with particular attention to the energy, infrastructure, and industry & automotive sectors.

Reducing our own emissions
Intesa Sanpaolo is accelerating the reduction of its own emissions by increasing the use of energy from renewable sources.
Under a new agreement with A2A, electricity will be sourced from two photovoltaic plants, which will meet about 10% of the Group's annual needs in Italy (about 30Gwh) for 10 years.
