Social Initiatives: an integrated approach for change
In 2023, Intesa Sanpaolo per il Sociale was established, the Group's operational and strategic unit based in Brescia dedicated to social co-planning. Its approach is based on intentionality and planning: each intervention is designed to create lasting value and generate structural change in communities and territories.
Working side by side with some of the most qualified organisations in the Italian Third Sector, the Group identifies the priorities of the regions and designs shared solutions. A concrete commitment that translates into projects capable of combating material deprivation and housing and health poverty; promoting education, guidance and employability of young people; and supporting the social development of local areas.
A measurable impact on the community: the main results achieved since 2018
interventions, including medicines, food, clothing and beds, with "Food and shelter for the needy".
7,000 new social housing units, including accommodation and beds for students between 2022 and 2025.
5,600 students trained or in training through the "Youth and Work" programme.
