Responsible Banking Progress Statement

Since 2019, Intesa Sanpaolo has been reporting on the progress achieved with respect to the Principles for Responsible Banking (PRB), which it adhered to as Founding signatory.

Since 2024, the UNEP-FI, in response to the evolution of the regulatory and voluntary framework in sustainability disclosure, has revised its approach with the aim to simplify.

The new Responsible Banking Progress Statement (RBPS) replaces the previous PRB Reporting, aiming to provide a framework that serves as a cross-reference table with other publications (e.g., CSRD, Climate Report).

Intesa Sanpaolo’s Responsible Banking Progress Statement 2024 is drafted using the template for the Summary Section made available by UNEP FI.

Independent third-party assurance is no longer mandatory, because the data conveyed in this document are already subject to assurance within the documents from which they are considered (Consolidated Sustainability Statement – CSRD and Climate Report).
