Sustainable Lending Framework

The Intesa Sanpaolo Group places great importance on supporting customers in their sustainable transition journey. 
The 2026-2029 Business Plan provides that 30% of the total new medium-long term loans over the period of the Business Plan are dedicated to sustainability, with a focus on social and environmental activities.

For greater internal and external transparency with respect to the products and operations considered sustainable, the Group has decided to review and update the rules for the classification of sustainable credit products and operations, according to the following sustainability characteristics: environmental, social, governance and other sustainability.
