Education, guidance and work: our commitment to young people
As part of the broader objective of fostering greater cohesion, inclusion and social innovation in the country, reaffirmed in the 2026-2029 Business Plan, Intesa Sanpaolo promotes and systematically develops initiatives for education, guidance and employability, operating on a national scale and in close collaboration with the relevant stakeholders and the main social actors in the regions.
This broad commitment includes programmes for inclusion and combating educational poverty, active citizenship and informed guidance for the development of children, school-age young people, ELET (Early Leaving from Education and Training) and NEET (Not in Education, Employment or Training) to ensure equal learning opportunities for all new generations, regardless of their socio-economic background, gender and abilities.
The Group also promotes initiatives to support employability, to facilitate access to the world of work for young people and vulnerable individuals, through guidance programmes, support in job search and professional development, reskilling and upskilling projects for disadvantaged groups.

Promotion of accessible and quality education for all, supporting school integration and educational inclusion, including through programmes aimed at reducing the digital divide.
Training guidance and employability
Support for access to the world of work through guidance and vocational training courses, soft skills learning programmes and initiatives dedicated to the employment of disadvantaged people.
Giovani e Lavoro programme: the response to the skills mismatch
In our country, there are many young people looking for a job, yet every year, companies find it difficult to find candidates with the right skills to fill "entry-level" positions.
Always sensitive to social issues, Intesa Sanpaolo wants to help bridge the gap between the skills required by companies and the training of young people. With the Giovani e Lavoro programme, created in collaboration with Generation Italy, we support the mission of the McKinsey & Company non-profit foundation, which started its activities in Italy in 2018 with the aim of building a bridge between the demand of companies and young people looking for work.
