Community and culture
Monetary contribution to the community
As also provided for in the 2022-2025 Business Plan, through the monetary contribution the Intesa Sanpaolo Group guarantees its support to meet the needs of the community, contributing to the fulfillment of the primary needs of people in difficulty, care for elderly, and the promotion of educational inclusion and youth employability.
UN SDGs SUPPORTED
The Group favors building long-term partnerships that constitute investments in the community (49% of disbursements) and promoting the Intesa Sanpaolo's brand and business with sponsorships that contribute to social causes (39% of disbursements).
The monetary contribution to the community is calculated according to the B4SI (Business for Social Impact) methodology. The monetary contribution to the community is partially included in the amount relating to Intesa Sanpaolo's commitment to social issues, equal to €300 million, against the objective of €1.5 billion over the period 2023-2027.

There are four main lines of intervention, to which €7 million have been allocated (37% of the total disbursed):
- emergency interventions against poverty (only for the year 2023);
- fight against educational poverty and the digital divide;
- support for NEET (Not in Employment, Education or Training) and ELET (Early Leaving from Education and Training);
- support for women and minors who are victims of violence and for those who are victims of serious discrimination.
The Fund has also supported projects relating to other social issues, such as health poverty and the fight against disease, disability, inclusive amateur sport and cultural projects that are characterized by their social implications. New in Guidelines 23-24 is the support for research in the social field: in 2023 three studies on usury, gang hiring and school dropout were selected.
