Supporting the sustainable growth of the Covalpa Abruzzo farm

Intesa Sanpaolo is supporting the sustainable investments of the Covalpa Abruzzo farm with €5 million: the financing will be used to build a new processing, freezing and packaging line for agricultural products of the Fucino region, which will save energy and water and improve the environmental impact.

Specifically, Intesa Sanpaolo is providing two ESG S-Loans with SACE Guarantee, financial instruments conceived to support companies in achieving their ESG objectives.

Covalpa Abruzzo counts more than 500 members, 100 vegetable-grower members and 400 potato-grower members.

Intesa Sanpaolo devotes specific attention to companies in the agricultural sector through its Agribusiness Department.
