Intesa Sanpaolo finances the Piedmont-based Osai with €5 million for the construction of a new plant in Samone: the transaction, backed by SACE by means of the Italy Guarantee, will also have positive impacts on the around 50 small production companies that Osai has brought together in a supply chain project.

Osai operates in the automation of industrial processes and deals in particular with standard systems and special machines for assembling and testing of hi-tech components for the semi-conductor and automotive industries and electronic manufacturing; established in 1991, it employs 200 people and exports 85% of production.

Osai was amongst the finalists of the 2022 edition of Women Value Company, a programme for enhancing the appreciation of female talent in SMEs, promoted by Intesa Sanpaolo together with the Marisa Bellisario Foundation.
