Intesa Sanpaolo and SACE are supporting the sustainable growth of La Regina di San Marzano SpA with three lines of financing totalling €10 million.

The investments of the Campania-based canning company, with a production site in Scafati (Salerno), are specifically aimed at:

  • increasing the plant's production capacity by optimising the red line, with particular reference to the production of ready-made sauces for the North American market
  • improving environmental sustainability, by installing a state-of-the-art photovoltaic system on a new building, that will also improve the current logistics efficiency
  • expanding wastewater and production waste treatment plants.

SACE backed with its guarantees two of the three credit lines provided by Intesa Sanpaolo through S-Loan ESG financing – instruments specifically developed to support companies in achieving sustainability-related objectives.
