Sibeg 10mln sustainable development Sicily

S-Loan of €10 mln with SACE in support of carbon neutrality investments

Intesa Sanpaolo is supporting the sustainable development projects of Catania-based Sibeg Coca-Cola with a €10-million S-Loan.

The loan, backed by a SACE Supportitalia Guarantee, supports the company's multi-year investment plan, which calls for:

  • carbon neutrality by 2026, with greater use of renewable energy sources
  • a new aseptic line to boost production and employment in Sicily   

Sibeg Coca-Cola is a Catania-based company that has been producing, developing and distributing all The Coca-Cola Company branded products in Sicily since 1960.

The Intesa Sanpaolo S-Loan is an instrument specifically designed to support SME investments in sustainability, characterised by a mechanism that rewards the achievement of shared ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) objectives through a discount on the cost of the financing.
