Sergio Luzzatto tells the story of the huge number of Jewish children who survived the Final Solution and escaped in Italy during the time of its “Liberation”: about seven hundred children from Poland, Hungary, Russia and Romania found refuge in the mountains of Selvino, near Bergamo, after 1945. This is the story of a redemption.
