History passes through Turin

“History passes through Turin” tells/talks about 3 central moments of the history of the city: two of them are well known to its inhabitants, very central in the memory and in the legend of the Piedimontese capital – the siege of 1706 and the Renaissance. The third is a historical event, hidden for a long time: the relation between Turin and fascism.
Each event focuses on the man who was the protagonist of the event or on the historical period, which Alessandro Barbero, with his extraordinary divulgatory skill, evokes: Prince Eugenio, Camillo Benso, Count of Cavour, and Mussolini.
