Regarding the recent press news, Gruppo IntesaBci informs that it obtained from Enron's Creditors Committee the approval to restructure the exposure of approximately 203 million dollars to ETB, Brazilian subsidiary of the Enron Group.

Any effects on the 2002 statement of income will be determined, presumably in the Half-Year Report, once the valuation process of the aforementioned restructuring is completed.
