Venetian landscape painting on exhibit in Vladivostok
Intesa Sanpaolo is opening its exhibit in Vladivostok entitled “Under the Venetian sky. Eighteenth-century landscapes from Intesa Sanpaolo's collections” featuring Venetian landscape paintings by several 18th-century master painters such as Canaletto, Francesco Guardi, Michele Marieschi and Hendrik Frans van Lint.
The works, exhibited at the Primorye National Gallery in Vladivostok from 3 September to 7 November, are from Intesa Sanpaolo's Gallerie d'Italia museum in Vicenza, which in addition to the 18th-century Venetian art collection, also houses one of the Europe's main collections of Russian icons.
The exhibit “Under the Venetian sky. Eighteenth-century landscapes from Intesa Sanpaolo's collections" - included in the cultural program of the Eastern Economic Forum - was created in synergy between Intesa Sanpaolo, Banca Intesa Russia and the Italian Embassy in Moscow.
