S-Loan of €2.4 million for sustainable projects at Cartiere Modesto Cardella

Intesa Sanpaolo has provided €2.4 million S-Loan financing with SACE Green Guarantee to Cartiere Modesto Cardella Spa of Lucca for the construction of a new plant that will produce bio-methane from industrial waste-water: the bio-methane produced will then be fed into the national natural gas grid and used for transport throughout Italy.

The deal benefits from SACE's 80% Green Guarantee and S-Loans are instruments designed by Intesa Sanpaolo to support virtuous SMEs in achieving ESG objectives.
