Intesa Sanpaolo opens the Palazzo degli Alberti Gallery in Prato
Intesa Sanpaolo has renovated Palazzo degli Alberti in Prato, opening a Gallery in which the public can admire around 90 works of art, including masterpieces by Bellini, Caravaggio, Bronzino and Filippo Lippi: thanks to the refurbishment of the building, which took about three years, and the conservation work carried out on the artworks, the bank is now able to showcase an extremely important part of the artistic heritage of the local area.
The opening of the Gallery in Palazzo degli Alberti was possible thanks to the collaboration with Banca Popolare di Vicenza S.p.A. in L.C.A., owner of the collection, the Municipality of Prato and the Archaeology, Fine Arts and Landscape Department of the Metropolitan City of Florence and the Provinces of Pistoia and Prato, and is part of Intesa Sanpaolo's ESG commitment to contribute to the cultural growth of the country and the economic and social development of the regions.
The Palazzo degli Alberti Gallery can be visited every weekend and admission is free.
