New organisation and strengthening of the Banca dei Territori Division
A new organisation of the Banca dei Territori Division has been operational since 1 April 2022: the Division has been strengthened to make customer service even more efficient and locally focused, in line with the guidelines of the new 2022-2025 Business Plan.
The main changes brought on by the reorganisation of the Division include the creation of the Isybank Department, the Group's new digital bank for the around four million customers who already do not go to branches, to be led by Antonio Valitutti. Sales & Marketing Digital Retail and Digital Branch departments have also been set up to strengthen the innovation and digitalisation of the services offered to customers.
A central People, Business, Development & Control Management coordination structure headed by Virginia Borla was also created.
The new Banca dei Territori organisation is in line with Intesa Sanpaolo's focus on digital evolution, development of female talent and focus on wealth management, protection and advisory services.
Overall, Intesa Sanpaolo's Banca dei Territori Division headed by Stefano Barrese includes the Impact Department (Director Andrea Lecce), the Agribusiness Department (Director Massimiliano Cattozzi) and twelve Regional Departments:
