Intesa Sanpaolo has signed an ESG-linked loan of €250 million in favour of Terna S.p.A., operating in the planning, development and maintenance of the high-voltage electricity grid in Italy.

The financing is realised through a 5-year Revolving Credit Facility Agreement, and is linked to a premium/penalty mechanism based on the performance of specific environmental, social and governance ('ESG') indicators.

The transaction confirms the Intesa Sanpaolo Group's commitment to supporting the sustainable transition of enterprises.
