For cheesemaker Ferrari Giovanni, €10 mln with Sace for sustainability

Intesa Sanpaolo is supporting the environmental sustainability investment plan of Ferrari Giovanni S.p.A. with a €10 million loan backed by a 90% SACE Guarantee.

The deal will enable the historic cheesemaker to:

• improve the environmental sustainability of its product by investing in research and packaging facilities for the use of 100% recyclable and, where possible, recycled packaging
• improve production processes by reducing waste, saving energy and using energy from renewable or self-generated sources, which will exceed 30% share thanks to the installation of new photovoltaic panels
• enhancing production efficiency by developing the digitalisation and revision of certain planning and control processes.

Ferrari Giovanni S.p.A. is an Italian company specialised in producing, selecting, ageing and packaging cheeses, and the financing significantly contributes to consolidating its 2024-2026 investment plan, which has a value of about €16 million.

Intesa Sanpaolo devotes specific attention and support to companies in the agribusiness segment through its Agribusiness Department, a national network dedicated to the sector.
