Luxury and beauty: the main operations of the IMI CIB division in 1H24
In the first half of 2024, Intesa Sanpaolo's IMI Corporate & Investment Banking Division was advisor for a series of extraordinary finance transactions in the fashion, beauty and luxury sectors.
The IMI CIB Division was co-lead manager of some of the leading listings in the beauty sector:
- Douglas Group on the Frankfurt stock exchange
- Swiss Galderma Group on the Zurich stock exchange.
In addition, it was joint financial advisor for the shareholders of KIKO Milano in the M&A transaction involving the acquisition by L Catterton of the majority stake in KIKO Milano.
Acting as the intermediary in charge of coordinating the collection of acceptances of the voluntary total takeover bid (OPA) promoted by Crown Bidco (vehicle of L Catterton) on Tod's ordinary shares, Intesa Sanpaolo's IMI Corporate & Investment Banking Division participated in one of the most important extraordinary finance transactions in the fashion and luxury sector.
The Intesa Sanpaolo Group, led by CEO Carlo Messina, thus confirms its support for the corporate world and its constant commitment to consulting and advisory activities for business development and internationalisation.
