Intesa Sanpaolo, through its IMI Corporate & Investment Banking Division, took part in the €2.9 million pool loan to Nexi, European PayTech listed on the Euronext Milan.

Initially planned as a €2 bln refinancing of the 2026 IPO facilities, the offering received considerable market support and was largely oversubscribed. This allowed Nexi to upsize the facility to €2.9 billion, which, coupled with the cash already available on the balance sheet, covers most of its debt maturities until 2027.

As part of the transaction, Intesa Sanpaolo's IMI CIB Division acted as Global Coordinator and Facility Agent.

Intesa Sanpaolo thus confirms its support for companies' growth and development paths.
