INTESA SANPAOLO ANNOUNCES NEW BOARD OF DIRECTORS COMPOSITION FOR ISYBANK
Milan - Turin, 3 May 2024 – Intesa Sanpaolo announces the new composition of the Board of Directors for isybank.
Francesco Profumo assumes the role of Chairman of isybank. Profumo’s previous roles include Dean of the Faculty of Engineering of the Turin Polytechnic University, where he served as Rector from 2005 to 2011; Chairman of the Compagnia di San Paolo from 2016 to 2024; Minister of Education, University and Research from 2011 to 2013; President of the Italian National Research Council (CNR) from 2011 to 2012; and Member of the European Innovation Council - European Commission from 2022.
Mario Boselli, Order of Merit for Labor recipient, a well-known entrepreneur in the textile sector who has held leadership roles in various business associations and currently serves as Chairman of Prestitalia, transitions from the chairmanship of isybank to Vice Chairman. Intesa Sanpaolo expresses its sincere appreciation to Mario Boselli for his significant contribution during his tenure as chairman.
Antonio Valitutti continues in his role as CEO, while Vanna Alfieri, Giampio Bracchi, Renato Cerioli, Achille Galdini, Paola Papanicolaou and Claudia Vassena remain on the Board of Directors of isybank.
