ESG Reporting Award 2022

Intesa Sanpaolo ranks second, and the only Italian bank, in the world ranking ESG Reporting Awards 2022 in the category dedicated to sustainability reporting in the financial sector (Banking). 

The ranking was created by ESG Investing Global Markets Media Ltd, a financial media company based in England. Evaluations are carried out by an independent jury made up of financial market professionals, academics and ESG experts.

The award is linked to the analysis and assessment of the sustainability and climate-related reporting of listed companies in various sectors around the world. The overall reporting strategy adopted and the engagement and communication activities dedicated to investors and stakeholders in all areas of corporate sustainability and climate change policies are considered in the selection process.

The positioning of Intesa Sanpaolo enhances the Group's ability to report in a complete and transparent manner the commitments and results achieved in the ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) area.
