From 10 to 15 June, Intesa Sanpaolo will sponsor the XIII UNESCO Creative Cities Annual Conference in Fabriano, the flagship event regularly organised by the UNESCO Creative Cities Network.
“The Ideal City” is the title and running theme of the 2019 conference, where representatives from 180 cities across the globe will share and exchange ideas on areas such as innovation, culture, creativity, hosting and sustainable development as a main objective of the 2030 Agenda of the UN.
The conference will be supported by a programme packed with side events, including an exhibit for the Benois Madonna by Leonardo da Vinci, on loan from Saint Petersburg’s State Hermitage Museum for all of June, and the installation of the seven "Creativity Pavilions” in the iconic sites of the Marche town, each one representing a field of the UNESCO network: crafts and folk arts, design, film, gastronomy, literature, media arts and music.
Intesa Sanpaolo is playing an active role in the event in the field of music, seeking to build a future that is based on the shared values of culture, solidarity and inclusivity.
Two events have been organised in partnership with Intesa Sanpaolo as part of the programme: the concert “Fantasie su opere italiane” performed by the Cameristi della Scala chamber orchestra on Wednesday 12 June at 7pm at the Teatro Gentile theatre, and the “Hyperbop” jazz concert, with the Diego Borotti and Fabrizio Bosso quartet, to be held on Friday 14 June at 7:30pm on Piazza del Comune, organised in partnership with Torino Jazz Festival.
