IntesaBci acquired 100% control of Carivita by buying the 20% minority stake held by CNP for € 105 million, corresponding to an approximately 1.2 multiple applied to the embedded value, in the frame of the reshaping of its bancassurance business.
Carivita’s technical reserves reached € 6.8 billion as of September 30th, 2002 and nine-month 2002 premiums totalled € 910 million.
