Banca Intesa communicates that yesterday it notified to Consob that its shareholding in FIAT’s voting share capital decreased from 5.583% to 4.580%.

Banca Intesa clarifies that this decrease doesn’t follow any sale of FIAT shares but is solely the result of the lending of 12,000,000 FIAT ordinary shares carried out by Banca Intesa under its customary securities lending activity.

Securities lending - which Banca Intesa contributed to launch in the Italian market and is further strengthening - enables to optimise the yield on securities held in portfolio.
