INTESA SANPAOLO: STANDARD & POOR’S LOWERS THE BANK’S LONG-TERM RATING FOLLOWING SIMILAR ACTION ON THE SOVEREIGN. SHORT-TERM RATING CONFIRMED
Torino, Milano, 21 September 2011 – Intesa Sanpaolo announces that today Standard & Poor’s has lowered the Bank’s long-term rating to A (from A+). This action follows Standard & Poor’s announcement on 19 September 2011 that they had lowered the long- and short-term sovereign ratings on Italy maintaining the negative outlook.
The Bank’s A-1 short-term rating has been confirmed.
The outlook remains negative.
