Consorzio Agrario di Cremona get €3 mln, with SACE, for new sustainable products

Intesa Sanpaolo is providing the Consorzio Agrario di Cremona with €3 million for the marketing of a new sustainable product line: pet bedding made from agricultural waste, such as the non-edible parts of cereals and animal feed processing waste.

The Consorzio Agrario di Cremona will therefore use renewable raw materials and innovative production processes to increase production capacity while reducing energy consumption.

The project leverages a circular economy model with positive spin-offs for farms, waste cycle companies and, hence, the ecosystem.

The operation, supported by SACE's Future Guarantee, is part of the “Your future is our business” programme, through which Intesa Sanpaolo is making €120 billion available to Italian companies, of which €15 billion for companies in the agribusiness sector.
