Euromoney recognizes several Intesa Sanpaolo subsidiaries banks in CEE

The image accompanying the News on PBZ in Croatia, VUB in Slovakia and BIB in Serbia awarded by the prestigious Euromoney magazine as the best banks in their countries, portrays the bioclimatic greenhouse of the Intesa Sanpaolo skyscraper in Turin

On the occasion of the Euromoney Awards for Excellence 2024 in London, the respected banking sector publication Euromoney has awarded several banks of the Intesa Sanpaolo Group’s International Subsidiary Banks Division. More in detail:

  • Privredna banka Zagreb (PBZ) is Croatia's Best Bank
  • VUB Bank is Slovakia’s Best Bank
  • Banca Intesa Beograd was awarded as Serbia's Best Bank, Serbia's Best Bank for Corporates and Serbia's Best Bank for ESG.

For its Awards, Euromoney evaluates over 600 banks in more than 100 countries around the world, recognizing the banks and bankers that have demonstrated their differentiation.

The quantitative and qualitative criteria considered in assigning the awards – which have been a benchmark in the banking sector for over 30 years – include: financial results, business development and business transformation, new products and services, digital solutions and technology, as well as the application of ESG principles.

Intesa Sanpaolo’s IMI Corporate & Investment Banking Division was also awarded by Euromoney as Best Investment Bank and Best Bank for Corporates in Italy.
