Intesa Sanpaolo participates in the €170 mln financing of Feralpi Siderurgica

Intesa Sanpaolo, through its IMI Corporate & Investment Banking Division, took part in the €170 million pool loan to Feralpi Siderurgica.

The financing, structured as a Sustainability Linked Loan, is intended to support the company's industrial investments and includes a margin adjustment mechanism linked to the achievement of two ESG performance indicators.

With this transaction, the Feralpi Group, one of Europe's leading steel producers, continues its 2022-2026 business plan for low-emission, more competitive steel.

Together with other banking institutions, Intesa Sanpaolo's IMI CIB Division acted as lender, Global Coordinator, Mandated Lead Arranger, Bookrunner, and Sustainability Coordinator.

The Intesa Sanpaolo Group thus renews its support for the Feralpi Group and confirms its commitment to accompanying entrepreneurial realities in their path of sustainable growth and development.
