Intesa Sanpaolo, through its IMI Corporate & Investment Banking Division, has participated—together with a pool of banks—in a new €185 million Sustainability-Linked Schuldschein financing (a private placement governed by German law) in favor of MAIRE.

The proceeds will be used for general corporate purposes, primarily for the early repayment of existing facilities.

The instrument includes a pricing mechanism linked to the MAIRE Group’s decarbonization targets, in accordance with the Sustainability-Linked Financing Framework adopted in October 2025.

In the transaction, Intesa Sanpaolo’s IMI CIB Division acted as arranger.

Intesa Sanpaolo continues to promote innovative financial solutions that integrate ESG criteria, contributing concretely to sustainable development goals at both national and international levels.
