green economy, sustainability, corporate and investment banking,

With a loan in the green economy of around 175 million euros, Intesa Sanpaolo stands alongside the largest Polish energy distributor. Indeed, the Tauron Group will carry out its first "green project", investing in the development of renewable energies and modernizing its electricity distribution network by using the latest eco-sustainable technologies.

The financing was handled by Intesa Sanpaolo's Corporate and Investment Banking Division, led by Mauro Micillo, and structured by Banca IMI London and the Warsaw branch of the CIB Division. The Intesa Sanpaolo Group confirms its commitment to spreading the culture of environmental sustainability in the countries in which it operates.
