Dott. Gallina receives €7 million for circular economy investments

The image accompanying the News on the 7 million loan to Dr. Gallina for investments in the circular economy, portrays the Morgan Station canopy in Chicago, US.

Intesa Sanpaolo is supporting Dott. Gallina Srl, specialised in processing plastic raw materials, with €7 million for the production of a new range of acrylic and polycarbonate slabs made from recovered and regenerated used materials, in line with a circular economy approach.

The new plants will be installed at the Borgaretto (Turin) factory, where the company is aiming for a robust energy efficiency in its processes: at full capacity, an estimated CO2 emission reduction of 3,200 tonnes/year is expected.

The transaction is backed by the SACE Green Guarantee.
