REYL & Cie acquires 40% of 1875 Finance

REYL & Cie strengthens its private banking activities in Switzerland and internationally with the acquisition of a 40% stake in 1875 Finance Holding, a Geneva- based multifamily office and independent asset manager for private clients. REYL & Cie is controlled by Fideuram - Intesa Sanpaolo Private Banking.

The strategic partnership will allow REYL and 1875 Finance to play a significant role in the reorganization of the Swiss financial market.

REYL & Cie finalizes the acquisition, announced in August 2021, following approval by the Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority (FINMA) and the Luxembourg Financial Sector Supervisory Commission (CSSF).

The strategic partnership between REYL and 1875 Finance will enable both banks to increase their combined market share in the independent wealth management segment in Switzerland. Business clients of 1875 Finance will benefit from REYL's corporate finance expertise.
