Intesa Sanpaolo and Sideralba have signed the first agreement in Southern Italy for the resale of tax credits related to the Superbonus scheme, with a tax value of approximately €175 million.

The contract signed with the Campania-based company is aimed at progressively reinvigorating the tax credit purchase market, fully implementing also in the South of Italy the Aid Decree, which calls for the resale of credits to the business community.

Thanks to these agreements with companies – essential counterparties in the resale market – Intesa Sanpaolo will be able to give first responses to customers waiting to sell their tax credits.

Intesa Sanpaolo was the first bank to announce operations relating to Superbonus, Ecobonus and Sismabonus programmes in August 2020: since then, through an effective control system monitored by its partner Deloitte on an online platform dedicated to Intesa Sanpaolo customers, the Group has purchased over €10 billion in tax credits, against demand of over €20 billion.
