Cinema: Intesa Sanpaolo supports the production of the film about Enzo Ferrari
Intesa Sanpaolo, together with Comerica, an American merchant bank, is supporting the production of the international film on Enzo Ferrari directed by Michael Mann: Intesa Sanpaolo's financing amounts to €22,250,000 and is intended to support the production's cashflow.
The film about Ferrari is being shot in Italy. Through this transaction, Intesa Sanpaolo confirms its leadership of Italy's audiovisual market.
In particular, Intesa Sanpaolo has devised a new operational model to support independent international productions that want to make their films in Italy, with positive effects in terms of employment and social benefits.
With around €2 billion disbursed to the sector since 2009, Intesa Sanpaolo has supported:
- over 200 operators in the national supply chain
- around 550 works produced, between films and TV series
- around 150 commercials, factuals and TV formats
thus confirming its role as the bank of reference for supporting and revitalising the Italian film industry.
