Intesa Sanpaolo, in a pool with other banks, has entered into a €600-million loan agreement with Lavazza, an international leader in the coffee market.

The transaction is aimed at achieving sustainability projects and includes a reward mechanism linked to reaching specific ESG parameters.

The total amount of €600 million consists of a Term Loan credit line and a Revolving credit line, both with a 5-year term.

The loan was provided jointly with BNL BNP Paribas, BNP Paribas Italia, Banco Bpm, Mediobanca and Rabobank. Intesa Sanpaolo – through its IMI Corporate & Investment Banking Division – also acted as Agent and Sustainability Coordinator.
