Intesa Sanpaolo and Bluenergy have signed an agreement to support the more than 40 SMEs linked to the company's supply chain: the goal is to facilitate their access to credit – thanks to the strength and solidity of the parent company – in particular for investments aimed at sustainable transition in keeping with ESG criteria.

The agreement is part of the Intesa Sanpaolo Supply Chain Development Programme and in north-eastern Italy the bank has already signed more than 180 supply chain contracts benefiting around 2,400 suppliers with a total turnover of approximately €20 billion.

The partnership with Bluenergy also includes the signing of a €120-million tax credit transfer contract, which allows the bank to expand its tax capacity in favour of social and other initiatives.

Bluenergy is an energy multi-service company based in Udine, Italy with over 50 points of sale in Friuli Venezia Giulia, Veneto, Lombardy, Piedmont and Liguria.
