INTESA SANPAOLO PRESENTS XME BANKS, THE FINANCIAL AGGREGATOR TO MANAGE CURRENT ACCOUNTS AND CREDIT CARDS OF DIFFERENT BANKS
Intesa Sanpaolo takes on an ever leading role in Open Banking thanks to XME Banks
Milan/Turin, 27 February 2020 – From today Intesa Sanpaolo customers can access XME Banks, the financial aggregator that connects the accounts and cards of any bank within the Intesa Sanpaolo Mobile APP and website.
It will no longer be necessary to switch from one application to another, or access the websites of various banks, to view current account or credit card balances and transactions.
With XME Banks, Intesa Sanpaolo Retail and Private customers may manage all of their bank accounts - including those with other banks - by simply entering the Intesa Sanpaolo Mobile APP, or from the Group’s Home Banking, to check available funds, monitor spending categories and manage their finances.
XME Banks currently provides access to 20 banks and aims to connect to more than 100 by the end of the year. Already from the coming months with XME Banks it will also be possible to make transfers from any connected bank and apply for loans.
Consequently to the investments made to develop Open Banking and to the PSD2 regulations that ensure high security standards, the Intesa Sanpaolo Group aims to increasingly place customers at the core of its strategy, as these will be able to manage all of their bank accounts on Intesa Sanpaolo channels quickly, functionally and completely securely.
Massimo Tessitore, Digital Business Partner Manager of Banca dei Territori, Private, Retail Products and Digital Channels of Intesa Sanpaolo, stated: “XME Banks combines simplicity, convenience and security, offering a unique experience in Italy. Through the Intesa Sanpaolo Home Banking or Mobile App it will actually be possible to manage all of the current accounts and credit cards of the banks you are a customer of. We conceived, designed and developed XME Banks to meet the needs of the most demanding customer segment, providing an evolved service and a truly innovative user experience”.
